1.
As we drift along our random course And we look for ways to make it worse All those blurry lines, all your hidden worlds Swim behind my eyes while the peace unfolds And push me to a sudden change
2.
Vagabonds 04:18
Well I’ve taken my time But it’s never enough Every footstep is mine Every shout, every laugh You may have a lot to lose But there’s many more to share If you found a soul to use Make sure you let it take you there Together alone Like ships out of sight We’re vagabonds That race along the edge of night Flesh and bone From water and light Summers are gone So find a song to make it right Can we raise our hearts against the odds? Can we take the truth that hurts the most? Together alone Like ships out of sight We’re vagabonds That race along the edge of night Flesh and bone From water and light Summers are gone So find a song to make it right
3.
Lay your soul on me Stitches and burns are my game Do what you please All the stars explode today Oh, my love would you say Εvery word lost its way? Give your heart, let it bend The precious art of getting hurt Dive in the fire Like none of us ever had a face Higher by design Leave your mark in this place Oh, my love would you say Εvery word lost its way? Give your heart, let it bend The precious art of getting hurt
4.
Eyes 05:33
Strange world You never find a soothing word to spell And I can tell Every time you meet it feels like hell You could be an open shore Or you could be a shell Strange fate Every number says you’re running late And I shall wait Until your pale horses find their way You could be an open door Or you could run away I’ve seen your eyes shine lately Sinking in the sun gently Taking in the joy, taking in the pain ‘Cause you could be the endless night Or you could be the day I’ve seen your eyes shine lately Sinking in the sun gently Forget all hope, but always dream awake ‘Cause you could be the frail step Or you could be the way
5.
The Long Run 05:32
A ride on the waves For a look to the shore What do they know? We’ll never get old Get off my star And I’ll land on yours Together we are The fear of gods Please stay awake The waters are rough And how much you hurt Is how much you’ll laugh Carry a knife In a generous hand Treasure the child But murder the son One day we’ll be beautiful words On lips that burn And keep the cold nights awake One day we’ll be lovers and friends Flowers and birds And trees and clocks running late Well is it so hard to set a fire? Is it so hard to set a fire? It shouldn’t be hard to set a fire It should be hard to put it off!
6.
This city bends Between my hands and I can twist it I wouldn’t miss it for the world We walk alone Your blood is cold, and you are the best So I threw my vest on a road So pull out your gun My ghosts are gone And there is nothing dark inside me Just spare the sun And when you’re done take it with you ‘Cause it was meant to belong I had a friend Who couldn’t stand the crying children Raging within him ‘til the end You look alike But keep in mind there’s always something Next to nothing to hold on tight So pull out your gun My ghosts are gone And there is nothing dark inside me Just spare the sun And when you’re done take it with you ‘Cause it was meant to belong As we run out of love As we run out of hate
7.
Mermaid Soup 04:58
I’ve got no soul he said, and he walked out of a burning room A million eyes stared as he swept the sweat off his forehead She took him by the hand, and they flew up to the edge of the moon Where everybody could take a good look as she pushed him over Now your eyes are burning It shines like a light but it fades too soon Now your eyes are burning Throw her back in the mermaid soup I don’t know what you’ve seen there But take all your turns if it feels as it looks And if you’re planning to meet her Beware of the corners this city is crooked There’s an arrow for every ten hearts Cuts through the feathers and tears them apart But if you feel like you know where to start Beware of the wonderful scars Now your eyes are burning It shines like a light but it fades too soon Now your eyes are burning Throw her back in the mermaid soup
8.
The room is flooded with your scent My ears are dancing to your laughter Strangely I'll never understand How to be happy ever after I don't know you You’re not here Don't know you Don't come near Red clouds are floating through your hair Six seasons passed without a summer And we're still hanging in dead air Alone, in love and well distracted I don’t know you You’re not here Don't know you Don't come near I don't know you You’re not here Don't know you Disappear!
9.
Avalanches 03:47
Safe and sorry Endless mountain Sees them climb high But never dare to run Clouds dissolving Through the dark eyes And with the sunlight Avalanches come See them tear down the walls Hear the windows shutter And as they cover the floor Taking over everything, stay! Stay, watch the white unraveling And the trouble will go with the snow Distant voices Plant the violence Keep your balance You never let me down Cut your roses To feed the lions And in this silence Avalanches come See them tear down the walls Watch the windows shutter And as they cover the floor Taking over everything, stay! Stay, watch the white unraveling And the trouble will go with the snow Hear them tear down the walls Watch the windows shutter And as they cover the floor Taking over everything, stay! Stay, watch the white unraveling And the trouble will go with the snow
10.
Waters 06:20
I stole some time To sit by, unchallenging Your breath and mine Our prime, so deafening Pull back the waters ‘Cause I know their song I've crossed all borders But I found no home Ten stars align Pale lights, we’re following Black sails, bad sign Cold mouth will swallow me Pull back the waters ‘Cause I know their song I've crossed all borders But I found no home Unleash the waters ‘Cause I sung their song My happy daughters, my sons Are gone
11.
Ten years ago today We wouldn't have it any other way Than go astray We'd ride the open sea And wouldn't stop ‘til everywhere was spring You and me You and me! Who put your hand to draw that map? Who's broken your back and tore you apart? Ten years ago today; too late Ten scars on your fate And you're out of faith Don't have this empty look Our days are fish that flounder on the hook Just like you And in the morning breeze We make them promise they will die at ease When no one sees No one sees! And it's been too long without your bloom But the walls ‘round the room let nothing through Ten years ago today; too soon Ten ghosts in tune And they're right after you

about

“Sympan” is the Greek transliterated definition of the word “universe” which, within absolute linguistic simplicity, expresses the summation of all space, time, matter, information and energy surrounding and including us. It is the overwhelming and unexplored vastness that
exceeds from galaxies to subatomic particles, encapsulating and interconnecting everything, in constant movement.

The delicate balance between chaos and order. A set of infinite
snapshots in fascinating correlation, well beyond the perceivable.
This album paints the picture of the bonds governing every such snapshot of its own presence.
It attempts to radiate back the energy of everyone and everything involved in it, consciously or subconsciously, in a time-irrelevant manner. Be it through stories, abstract concepts or detailed soundscapes, it wants to pull the listener in its own gravitational field and orbit together observing the continuity of all things. It creates a boundless grid consisting of any experienced feeling, in which one can move freely and effortlessly.

Created with unconditional love in all its renditions, within a spacetime of questionable circumstances, Sympan is set to approach and admire a single, solid condition: The magnificent coexistence of Everything.
